Refining and crystallization convert these intermediates into high-purity lithium hydroxide or carbonate - materials suitable for battery manufacturing.

Recent advancements in DLE have reduced the costs of purification, concentration, and crystallization. However, coordination across the full process chain is critical to improving overall efficiency.
