Summary Agenda

About the topic

DER management has been probably one of the most debated and hot topics in the energy industry for a while and has continuously been marked as the top priority when compared to other BtM and residential/C&I technologies in past Darcy forums. Technologies, use cases and entangled terminology like DERMS, Virtual Power Plants, Aggregators, DRMS and others don't make it any easier. In this event we will make a recap of last year's series of forums where we covered the first three mentioned technologies, shared and updated market landscape, and heard from a couple of utility's journey in this space plus an innovator.

About the audience

This forum is targeted at all utility members working on DER management efforts and innovative customer offerings. Come to learn more about the internal journey of a utility going through their RFP process, vendor evaluation, DSM programs use cases, internal ownership of the newly signed VPP platform, and more!

About the innovator

Camus provides an orchestration platform for the renewable, distributed grid. By providing live data of usage and behavior of the grid, the platform offers actionable insights on how to balance local DERs to support system stability and minimize costs as grids transition to zero carbon. Their software tool aggregates different data sources such as GIS, AMI, other DER management end-point solutions and more into an overarching solution.
