About the Topic
Drilling operations have become complex as operators explore deeper and in newer locations. Special operations have become more common as lithology and drilling parameters become more complicated and require innovative drilling practice and novel technology. Some of these scenarios are, controlled directional drilling, managed pressure drilling, dual gradient drilling, fishing, sidetracking, extended reach drilling. In this Event, we will explore the industry's current interest in utilizing innovative technologies in multi-lateral drilling applications.
About the Innovator
Modern Wellbore Solutions will discuss their junction tool that allows for mono-bore/ lateral isolation, and access without multiple trips. More importantly, the tool can allow for zipper fraccing. Kyle Klam and Kyle Maguire will discuss the companies background and technology development. Additionally, a user of the technology will discuss the utilization of the technology. Emile Khalil, a former Seven Generation engineer (defunct - acquired by ARC), will discuss the background in the strategic process of how the tool was developed for multilateral applications.
About the Audience
This Event will be particularly impactful for drilling supervisors, intendants, drilling engineers, company men, wells-engineers, and operations coordinators, among others interested in advancements in multilateral technology.
