Low-Cost Pneumatics Mitigation for Legacy Wells

About the Topic

Pneumatic mitigation is a key step towards reducing emissions on site. Instrument air has shown to be the most popular option, but economic feasibility is limited in locations where power is not stable, such as remote fields. Other options like liquid Nitrogen and electric actuation have been covered in other events. During this event, we will focus on pneumatics mitigation relying on improved controls that route the process to a system.

About the Innovator

Cordova Methane Controls developed VentHawk and VentHawk CH4, a power-free solution addressing pneumatic vent gas emissions by routing to a process and or destroying the methane (VentHawk CH4). This technology is proven and effective for trouble-free capture, utilization, and destruction of isolated pneumatic controller vent gas. This system is ideal for legacy wells where there is no electricity, but can also be used in new facilities.

About the Audience

Emissions reduction team members / leads, VPs of Sustainability or GHG, as well as facilities engineers recommended to attend.
