There's no shortage of lists to summarize the past year. But here at Darcy, we have a unique data set with activity on Darcy Connect from over 10,000 energy company Connect Users. That data shows which innovators saw the most activity on Darcy Connect in the form of views, clicks, likes, follows, meetings scheduled, etc.. Combined with analysis from our Research Team about technology developments and market traction, we have selected the Top 10 Innovators from 2021 in each of our coverage channels. This is our way of saying: "these are the innovators that your peers are most interested in, so you should definitely go and learn more about them". In this article, you will find the Innovators that made it on the list in the category of Sustainability.
But there is far more to detail to look at than what you'll find here.
- The Innovator names are all linked to their Storefront, where you can find in-depth information on their products, business model, our Research Team's opinion, and Connect Users are even able to schedule meetings with the Innovators.
- E&P users of these technology companies will share their experience deploying these solutions during the Sustainability: Top Technologies from 2021 Darcy Live Event that will take place on February 1st at 10am CST.
- In the month of January you will find weekly articles like this with Top 10 lists from our Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Sustainability, and Energy Transition research programs.
- All articles will be followed by a Darcy Live Event. On the Event page, you can find the full Darcy Live schedule for Q1.
The Top 10 Innovators from 2021 in the Sustainability space are (in random order):
- Qnergy: Qnergy is a clean technology manufacturer of Stirling energy systems and provides reliable distributed power for the 1-10KW range. The company developed a free piston Stirling engine with virtually zero maintenance and low emissions.
- GHGSat: GHGSat designs and puts into orbit purpose-built satellites for emissions detection. They offer custom analysis, using GHGSat satellite imagery and other sources, on an exclusive basis to each customer.
- Crusoe: Crusoe offers a flare mitigation solution that converts natural gas into electricity to power energy-intensive computing at the wellsite.
- Bridger Photonics: Bridger Photonics deploys Gas Mapping LiDAR, a laser-based methane detection technology via aircraft to scan assets throughout the entire natural gas supply chain. The technology can accurately detect, pinpoint, image, and locate methane emissions for operators.
- Kairos Aerospace: Kairos Aerospace offers an aircraft-based leak detection solution focused on identifying large leaks through the combination of its methane spectrometer and strong data analysis pipeline.
- Compact Compression: Compact compression provides compression technologies and vapor recovery systems for reduced flaring and methane emissions avoidance.
- LongPath Technologies: LongPath Technologies uses advanced, long-range laser systems to provide regional continuous monitoring to the oil and gas industry with real-time data streaming and customizable alert thresholds.
- Andium: Andium provides end-to-end remote site monitoring products that include tank telemetry, flare tracking, object detection, and truck remote WiFi coverage.
- EcoVapor Recovery Systems: EcoVapor Recovery Systems offers vapor recovery solutions that enable operators to both recover tank vapor flash gas directly from tanks and remove oxygen from the recovered production gas stream.
- Arolytics: Arolytics is an emissions software and modelling company. Their solutions enable clients to design, manage, and track the most efficient emission reduction programs, providing third-party data transparency while aligning with regulatory and corporate ESG objectives.
In addition to wrapping up 2021, January is also the month that we are setting our research priorities for 2022. We are member driven and focused on solving your challenges. So I'm inviting you to share your topics of interest with us in the comment section. You can even share any links to road map documents (or send them to berkleigh@darcypartners.com)!
