Product Overview

Overview

Xytel Corp. designs and manufactures pilot plants for:

  • Oil refining: from the traditional areas of hydroprocessing like fixed bed hydrocracking, hydrotreating, and residue hydroconversion, to some of the latest technologies like FCC/coker gasoline desulphurization, residue conversion in ebulated bed, and wax hydrocracking.
  • Gas conversion / SynFuels: Fischer-Tropsch Fixed Bed/Slurry, Alcohol Synthesis, Oxidative Coupling of Methane Steam and Autothermal Reforming.
  • Polymers: polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutadiene, copolymers, polystyrene, nylon, synthetic rubber among others. Process options include gas phase (either stirred gas phase reactor at the laboratory scale or fluid bed reactors), loop and slurry reactors, and plug flow tubular reactors.
  • Chemicals: reactant metering, reaction, absorption, separation, distillation, filtration or centrifugation, drying, and more.
  • Biofuels / Environmental: Biofuel Upgrading, Exhaust Gas Converters, Catalytic Combustion
