The "as a service" model moves the responsibility from them to true energy experts that can take care of the job and, sometimes even more importantly, finance these asset deployments and manage operations if needed. For unregulated arms of utility businesses, companies playing in this sector can be interesting partners to develop new and well-rounded internal offerings.
