Product Overview
Overview
Cavendish Hydrogen develops hydrogen refueling stations (from design to operation) providing 4 key modules that combined form their H2Station™:
- H2Serve™: For hydrogen supply connection to the station
- H2Buffer™: Inlet storage
- H2Core™: Core step - Compression, conditioning and controls.
- H2Connect™: Dispenser
Each module is manufactured in their own facilities and installed on-site afterwards.
The company provides certified fueling stations capable of servicing passenger vehicles, buses, and heavy-duty trucks, and have already 160 H2Station™ units deployed across North America, Europe, and South Korea.
The company has proprietary IP on various of the station components, such as:
- Compression
- Cooling
- Dispensing system
New Development Project:
They have been working on enhancing heavy-duty refueling process and are looking for a strategic partner to collaborate on constructing the first pilot plant in 2025. This pilot plant intends to have a fueling rate of 260 kg/hour (providing over 3,200 km of autonomy for HD trucks), being able to fill 65kg in a 85kg tank in less than 10 minutes, following the SAE J2601-5 protocol.
Business Model
Cavendish sells equipment for hydrogen refueling infrastructure based on the client scale and specifications, their service can be complemented with maintenance and operational services.
Technology Innovations
The company has developed innovative technology in several stages in the refueling equipment:
