About the Topic

In our fourth Event in our Hydrogen Engineering Challenges series, we will be highlighting the various innovations and engineering approaches to commercializing cost-competitive electrolysis. Find a link to our first event of the series on Hydrogen storage here, a link to our second event on pipeline infrastructure here, and a link to our third Event of the series on distributed hydrogen production here.

Event Highlights

  • Electrolysis Technologies Overview - Gain insights into the latest advancements in electrolysis technology from the Darcy team. Explore key global electrolysis projects, technology types, benefits, considerations, and ideal deployment scenarios. Plus, discover emerging alternative solutions.
  • Vendor Landscape - Get a comprehensive view of the vendors leading the charge in solving electrolysis challenges. Explore the cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of this industry.
  • Innovator Highlight - Our featured innovator is H2U, tackling engineering and supply chain challenges in traditional PEM electrolysis with their development of iridium-free catalysts, and more.

About the Audience

If you are interested in learning more about hydrogen produced by electrolysis, this Event is for you. With new incentives and hydrogen hub decisions on the horizon, we've been receiving a much higher number of requests on Electrolyzer technologies. What is the difference between PEM, Solid Oxide, or Alkaline systems? What are the main engineering and performance challenges that each face? Which systems are best suited for certain applications? And what are the emerging novel designs making waves among VCs?

About the Innovator

H2U Technologies is a developer of new catalysts used to start or speed up the electrolysis of water into hydrogen and oxygen. The company also produces a grid-scale PEM electrolyzer, the Gramme 50. The technology underpinning H2U Technologies’ products is based on 10 years of research and development funded by the U.S. Department of Energy through Caltech’s Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis (JCAP).
